Options include Flutted, Sgraffito and Smooth surfaces with or without glazed colors. Stoneware is dense pottery fired at high temperatures which makes it resistant to liquids. It is more durable than other kinds of pottery and earthenware. Stoneware is heavy and gets its name from its stone-like qualities.
